- Expert Preparation for College Musical Theatre and Acting Program Auditions -
Musical Theatre Audition Intensive
The Orchestra Package includes the following:
In a 60-minute consultation, our audition advisors will evaluate a student's skill set and provide feedback to help them begin the college journey. During this consultation, students and parents will have the opportunity to ask any questions about the college audition process.
You will have access to Theatre Audition Advisors' STAR platform which combines a database of over 325+ performing arts programs with the organizational tools and step-by-step instructions on how to navigate the college audition process. We provide a 45-minute demo of the platform to help you build the college program dashboard that best fits your goals.
Our audition coaches will help you break down the entire college audition process to understand it more thoroughly. We will cover college lists, applications, prescreens, important deadlines, Unifides, in-person auditions, and post audition expectations. You will also receive important documents and other resource tools to help you as you prepare. There will be ample opportunity to ask any question from our college experts—leaving nothing on the table in this 90-minute private session.
Our theatrical resume designer will provide you with a refined and professional resume that will set you apart from other candidates in the audition process. Our college audition team will meet with you in-person for 30 minutes to discuss your musical, theatrical, and dance background. This package also includes two rounds of edits and formatting for your theatrical resume.
This includes a two-hour, private prescreen audition coaching with two of our acting instructors. During this session, our acting coaches will guide you through your college audition material on camera in one of our prescreen studio spaces. Additionally, we will edit your prescreen audition for submission.
Our theatre audition coaches will walk through your in-person audition. Throughout this program, we will focus on specific aspects that adjudicators are looking for—including appropriate material, attire, and how to conduct yourself during the interview process. This is a crucial step towards feeling 100% confident in your upcoming college auditions.
Includes three 45-minute monologue coaching sessions and two monologue selections led by our college acting coaches. Monologue selection is based on the individual audition requirements in addition to your range, ability, and type. Additional coachings can be purchased at a 30% discount.
Includes three 45-minute vocal coachings led by Michael Karl, owner and head vocal coach at Michael Karl Studio. Includes two song selections based on individual audition requirements in addition to your range, ability, and type. We will also help you prepare and mark your song cut selections for your accompanist. Additional coachings can be purchased at a 30% discount.
Many college musical theatre programs require a 30-60 second choreographed dance piece for the prescreen component of your audition. If dancing is not your strongest area, this option is ideal for you. Our professional choreographer will schedule a 30-minute session to talk to you about your previous dance experience. Additionally, they will help prepare a choreographed dance piece and will provide a thorough break down of that choreography. Finally, they will follow up with a 60-minute session to help you polish your routine.
