“Growing up without a place to belong, one educational theatre program changed my life”
Constantly struggling with acceptance and belonging, I was given the opportunity to audition for an educational theatre program in high school. This was the turning point that allowed me to finally feel like I belonged. The program embraced me like family, and it served as a launching pad for my career in the performing arts.
This is the reason our studio was established, because I believe that everyone deserves to have a sense of belonging. It is my desire for parents to recognize the unique gifts of their children and to help them appreciate their worth. Your voice and identity are significant and valued here at Michael Karl Studio, regardless of your background or origins. This is a place where you can feel at home and share your voice. We want to help you in expressing your true self.
