Client Coordinator

  • Availability: Full-time, 40 hours/wk, with shifts being 11AM-7PM eastern weekdays. Start Date: Mid May 2023.

  • Location: Online for Michael Karl Studio - Atlanta, GA

  • Reports To: Studio Manager

  • Pay Rate: $10 - $12 per hour + sales commission

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and personable candidate for the position of Client Coordinator to join the team at Michael Karl Studio. Hours will be set weekdays from 11AM - 7PM Eastern

Michael Karl Studio is a grassroots performing arts school looking for a Client Coordinator to help maintain and expand our community and business as we enter our sixth year of providing voice and acting lessons and hosting/participating in events around Atlanta.

The Client Coordinator will need excellent customer service skills as they will be the first point of contact for our customers and students, while having independence, reliability, and organization to help things run smoothly behind the scenes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • STUDENT MANAGEMENT

  • Provide outstanding customer service and build relationships by getting to know students and families within our studio community.

  • Manage student leads, schedules, lesson time changes, registration of consultations.

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Handling customers and using our point of sale to sell products

  • Answering a variety of questions via email, phone calls, in person, and texts

  • Additional duties related to the position

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Our ideal candidate has education and/or experience in Customer Service, Administrative Assistant, and/or Office Management. The role of the Client Coordinator is to ensure that staff, customers, and visitors have a high-quality experience from the moment they arrive to the time they leave, and everything in between. Overall, we’re looking for someone who is reliable, sharp-minded, teachable, flexible, and excited to grow with us.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in sales and customer service

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidential records

  • Multitasking and time-management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Excellent detail work proficiency in terms of managing web-based applications, software, and tools (scheduling platform, Google Suite, acuity scheduling, cloud-based software, social media, etc.)

  • Ability to follow guidelines and direction, and positively contribute to the MKS team

  • Friendly and professional attitude and appearance

  • The ability to teach and play music is not required but a love of music is preferred.
