Week 1: Self-discovery and basic Meisner Technique, with headshot analysis and character-based homework.

Week 2: Objectives and point of view.

Week 3: Emotional depth with objective-based exercises and character discussions.

Week 4: Monologue performances and preparation for scene work.

Week 5: Integrate techniques into collaborative scene rehearsals.

Week 6: Showcase monologues and final scene performances.

Jessie Brownie She/Her

Jessie Brownie is an accomplished Atlanta-based performer with a wealth of experience in the world of theatre and dance. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre from Elon University, she has appeared in a variety of roles on both stage and screen, including performances in American Idiot, Cats, and Baby, among others. Throughout her career, Jessie has honed her skills as a performer and developed a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in the highly competitive world of acting.

As a teacher, Jessie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom, with a focus on providing her students with the tools they need to succeed in auditions and beyond. Whether you’re a beginner just starting out or an advanced student looking to refine your skills, Jessie’s experiential and exercise-based approach will help you grow and develop as a performer. With a focus on technique, industry insights, and a commitment to balancing passion and play, Jessie is the perfect coach for anyone looking to take their acting skills to the next level.
