Nicole Vazquez is a New York City based actor, singer, and voiceover artist. Nicole has starred in various national commercials for television, radio, and the internet. Her resume includes off- Broadway, national tours, and various regional theaters performing everything from Shakespeare to new musicals. Nicole graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music Theatre from The Hartt School at The University of Hartford in Hartford, CT. She is represented by KEY Management.
Nicole’s expertise includes singing, voice over acting, acting for the stage, Shakespeare, and acting for the screen. As a voice coach, Nicole meets students right where they are and builds the foundation for healthy, beautiful singing through vocal exercises that teach technique without feeling overwhelmed by complicated technical jargon. She focuses on storytelling, musicality, and overall vocal health to give her students practical knowledge of music and a way to actually apply it to singing. As an acting and voice over coach, her unique experience and knowledge enables her to teach students the differences between the various forms of acting all while keeping the work grounded in honesty and vulnerability. She has a strong foundation in both comedy and drama and has worked with brilliant coaches and directors such as Ted Sluberski (client credits include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, How to Get Away With Murder, Chicago P.D. and more) and Amy Anders Corcoran (Escape to Margaritaville, Broadway).
Nicole’s goal as a coach is to foster a positive space where her students can grow in their artistry while gaining valuable industry knowledge and technical skills. Her principle motto is "firm but fair"; holding students to a high standard based on their unique goals and challenges, while maintaining a safe space to try, to fail, and to try again. She believes anyone can be an artist and is devoted to helping her students achieve their dreams through encouragement, discipline, honesty, and empathy.
