Meet Your Instructor
Matthew Cesari He/Him
Matthew Cesari is an exceptional teacher for songwriting who brings a wealth of creative experience to his classroom. With a degree in Cinema & Television Arts and a minor in Creative Writing from Elon University, Matthew has worked as a filmmaker, scriptwriter, and playwright, and has a passion for writing music and lyrics. He has worked for various organizations, including the Newnan Carnegie Library Foundation, creating an original musical for the 2022 Southern LitFest. Matthew's experience teaching engaging script/songwriting workshops to youth ages 11-18 at 7 Stages Theatre in Atlanta showcases his dedication to mentoring young creatives. With his expertise in story structure, screenwriting, and music composition, Matthew is sure to inspire and guide his students to reach their full potential as songwriters.
